Documentation Centre (BANSDOC)
is a premier science and technology
(S&T) information organization
in the country. Providing
the scientists technologists,
technicians, industrialists,
planners and policy-makers
with scientific and technological
information is the mandate
of BANSDOC for the
upliftment of socio-economic
development of the country.
With that end of view, BANSDOC
has got the following objectives,
which are:

to
collect, process and store
information and data on
scientific research and
experimental development
in all branches of science
and technology;

to
disseminate such information
to researchers, irrespective
of their affiliations
whether they are engaged
in research, academic
institutions, planning
organizations, policy
making bodies or in the
nationalized and private
sector industries ;

to assist researchers
in the country to make
contact with researchers
of other countries working
in the same field of interest.
